T & D’s intimate elopement at a private Tybee Island estate felt like a warm, sunlit secret shared among close family and friends who all stayed on site. The morning ceremony took place out by the dock as the bride walked down to soft piano music and the couple exchanged personal vows. Then everyone gathered for a decadent brunch where biscuits and gravy, Dutch babies, crepes, quiche, and an array of other breakfast favorites were on display and impossibly delicious. The long communal table was dressed with hand-thrifted vintage plates, napkins, and topped with a handwritten note, creating a lived-in, lovingly curated atmosphere. Later, the couple cut a cake inspired by Monet’s water lilies - a gentle nod to the surrounding Low Country scenery - and the day closed perfectly with a late-afternoon dolphin boat trip that sent guests off laughing and afloat on golden light.
