B&C’s Multi-Cultural, Boho Wedding
B and C’s love story began with a rocky start at a mutual friend’s party where initial impressions left her thinking he was too reserved and him feeling she was too loud. However, as they spent more time together, that initial friction transformed into a deep and passionate connection. When it came to planning their wedding, they entrusted us to create a celebration that seamlessly blended their Western and Indian cultural backgrounds. We incorporated the classic structure of a Western wedding enhanced by rich colors and ornate Indian decor. To honor Chait’s upbringing, a beautiful Hindu ceremony was held on the rehearsal day, serving as an elegant extension of the festivities. Despite thunderclouds and storms threatening the day, the skies cleared just in time for their ceremony under a majestic Southern oak. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour with lawn games and a mini horse, followed by a family-style dinner. The celebration closed with lively dancing to a mix of upbeat Indian music, highlighted by a special Bollywood performance from the couple, alongside 2000s dance hits that got everyone on their feet.
