R & B’s Floral Celestial Wedding

When R & B first came to me with their vision for a wedding day, I was so intrigued. They told me they wanted a moody celestial theme but with lots of light florals. How do you blend moody and soft colors while staying true to the theme? To be completely honest, I often found myself doubting whether the vendors and choices we made would turn out to be exactly what they wanted. When the day finally came, I was so ecstatic with how everything pulled together!! It’s not every day you stump a wedding planner (lol) but boy, did our team kill it!!

The couple got married in the industrial park 1621 Alton underneath a large tree covered in Edison bulbs. They stood in front of a really cool metal moon arch that we covered in soft florals. Personally, I love how the florist added pops of navy to keep in theme with the color scheme. The aisle way was dotted with the table centerpieces (which is a really cool way to reuse florals!). Since R&B met each other in the way gone era of Tumblr through their mutual love of music, we came up with the idea of a record seating chart which the couple DIY’d with dried flower petals. The reception tables stayed neutral but we gave it that moody feel through navy colored vintage goblets and navy napkins. The entire budget for their day was about 35k for 100 people which proves that even when you are ballin’ on a budget (at least with how the industry sees it) you can still have a super elegant and fun wedding!
